Maps Discovery uses Google Maps data to find local businesses in your target areas.
Getting Started
- Go to Discovery > Maps Search
- Enter a business type (e.g., "trucking companies")
- Enter a location (city, state, or zip code)
- Click Search
Understanding Results
Each result shows:
- Business name and address
- Phone number (if available)
- Google rating and review count
- Website domain
- ICP status badge
Quick Industry Chips
Use the quick industry chips at the top to quickly search for common business types:
- Freight Brokers
- Trucking Companies
- Warehouses
- Manufacturing
- And more...
Saving Search Presets
Save your favorite searches as presets:
- Configure your search parameters
- Click the save icon in the header
- Name your preset
- Access saved presets from the dropdown
Best Practices
- Search by city or county for focused results
- Use specific business types for better accuracy
- Review ratings to prioritize established businesses
- Check the ICP badge before importing
