Tile scraping lets you systematically discover leads across geographic areas using a tile-based approach.
What are Tiles?
Tiles are geographic units (typically county seats) that are scraped systematically to ensure complete coverage of an area.
How It Works
- Go to Discovery > Coverage
- Select states to target
- Generate tiles for selected states
- Start tile runs to scrape each tile
Understanding Tile States
- Pending: Not yet scraped
- Running: Currently being scraped
- Complete: Successfully scraped
- Failed: Error occurred, may retry
Tile Packs
Group tiles into packs for organized scraping:
- Select multiple tiles
- Create a pack with a name
- Run the entire pack at once
Deduplication
The system automatically handles duplicates:
- Same domain won't be imported twice
- Fuzzy name matching catches variations
- Cross-tile deduplication is automatic
Best Practices
- Start with high-priority states
- Monitor run progress in the jobs queue
- Review blocked counts to tune your ICP
- Use coverage heatmap to track progress
